• “whiny” (so whiny the Doctor was able to ignore what was happening until she laid it out for him!)
• “useless” (so useless she totally didn’t keep the Doctor alive for the entire season despite his best efforts)
• “slutty” (hey fandom? fuck you btw)

THINGS MARTHA JONES IS AND ALWAYS HAS BEEN:

• intelligent (“they’re not exactly air-tight — if the air was gonna be sucked out, it would’ve been already”)
• brave (“we might die.” / “we might not.”)
• compassionate (she offers to talk to Joan on the Doctor’s behalf)
• resourceful (lightning rod at the last second?)
• patient (who else would’ve put up with Ten in s3 lbr)
• snarky (“and then I could get sectioned!”)
• nerdy (BUSTS OUT “EXPELLIARMUS” IN A LIFE OR DEATH SITUATION, NEED I SAY MORE? one of us, one of us!)
• gorgeous (this isn’t particularly important but it sure is true)
• practically perfect in every way
